Michael Birkin Appointed as Head of Sales - APAC Region at MODS

MODS welcome Michael Birkin, who recently joined the team as Head of Sales for the APAC region.

Donald Paterson

Donald Paterson, Regional Manager, says:

“Engaged with software sales from previous positions in Australia’s eastern regions, Mike brings a good understanding of what is required to secure successful sales in a variety of industries such as commercial construction, ICT, mining & industrial engineering.”

Born in Zimbabwe, Mike first moved to South Africa then to Australia where he's now been for 10 years. He started off in Central Queensland which is heavily focused in the mining sector. Most of his career has been in industrial, engineering and construction product sales.

Don says:

“MODS will benefit greatly from Mikes knowledge, contact base & sales strategies to expand the brand in the Australasian region.”

Mike's role is a new one within the MODS organization, created to support the ever-expanding global reach of MODS Connect. It's a perfect fit, as over the past 2 years Mike has become increasingly focused on software sales in the construction, energy, mining and industrial sectors.

Mike says:

“I enjoy the challenge of problem solving and seeking solutions. Being forced out of my comfort zone, looking for ways to integrate transformation - particularly digital transformation - in a way that best suits potential clients and their businesses is something I'm excited to bring to MODS.”

The entire MODS family wishes Mike a successful start to his MODS journey throughout the APAC region!
